Just in case any of you were wondering (but I’m sure you weren’t) why the Jousts have dried-up in recent weeks I thought I’d proffer a word of explanation: there are a few reasons but the main one is that I have discovered a new passion – sailing!
There’s a lot to be said for the therapeutic nature of spending time on the water. My personal belief is simply that the sea can’t be rushed. You have to go at the pace determined by wind and tide alone. A gentle reminder that we humans aren’t really in control and, at the same time, forcing us to slow down. Have a great time and safe sailing.
It's a great way to spend time Geoff. One of my favourite places to be, and certainly provides a diffrent perspective on life. Of course there is the analogy that it's "it's like standing under a cold shower tearing up five-pound notes", but once you're hooked, you're hooked! Ready about...
Any further orders Cap'n? I'll bring her about Now!
Thanks Tony; I hope all is well with you and hope to see you around the traps before too long!
Geoff

Thanks Ian; I‘be been told that BOAT is an acronym for ‘Break Out Another Thousand’!
Best, Geoff
